Hanoi, Cat Ba

We leave Hanoi to take the ferry to Hai Phong which takes us to Cat Ba Island. Boarding around 12pm for a cruise taking place in Lan Ha Bay. The route passes through a floating fishing village in the bay, before reaching the more picturesque areas and their hundreds of islets.

A seafood lunch is served on board the boat. Coffee or tea is served, followed by a moment of relaxation on deck while the boat sails towards the Viet Hai village. A bike ride to discover the daily life of the inhabitants who have lived from fishing and gathering for generations.

Return on board at the end of the afternoon. Our junk moves away from the tourist places and we anchor for dinner and overnight in the bay. Return on board to enjoy the sunset on the bay or learn to cook with the chef. In the evening you can try your luck at squid fishing. It is in this peaceful place in Lan Ha Bay that we spend a night under the stars.

Lan Ha, Halong Bay

After breakfast, the crew weighs anchor, and continues sailing further north to Bai Trai Dao Beach (Three Peaches) for swimming. Kayak or boat trip to the Ca tunnel. Once through the tunnel, we enter a lake surrounded by cliffs. Dinner and overnight on board.

Halong, Hanoi

After breakfast, we continue our cruise northeast to discover Halong Bay by sailing through thousands of "sugar loaves" emerging from the waves declared a "natural heritage of humanity", but still away from the tourist routes. We will have the impression of being in a world of fossilized animals millions of years ago. Return of the cabins around 10am. After lunch at 11am, disembarkation at Hon Gai port around noon to take the return trip to Hanoi. End of this mythical parenthesis of your trip to Vietnam.
