Hanoi, Mai Hich: 160 km

Start of your motorbike trip in Vietnam! Departure from Hanoi to the mountainous sites to discover the first rice fields. We become familiar with our guide as well as with the driving so specific to Vietnam.

We leave our bikes for a hike in the village of Mai Hich, amidst buffaloes, fishermen lifting traps, rice fields and vegetable gardens.

Overnight at our hosts' in a traditional house on stilts after sharing our meal and tasting the homemade rice alcohol.

Mai Hich, Moc Chau: 120 km

After breakfast, direction Moc Chau by the national road 6. The landscape of the Moc Chau plateau is totally unique and sometimes reminiscent of the countryside of northern Europe. We drive along its fields dotted with large stones, small walls, tea crops and dairy cattle.

Overnight in the small black Thai village of Ban Doi.

Moc Chau, Nghia Lo: 160 km

Full North through villages, cornfields on a winding road, we climb a pass and pass the lake by the ferry.

Arrival at a Thai village in Yen Bai province where we spend the night in their house on stilts.

Nghia Lo, Hanoi: 195 km

Stroll through the village's rice fields and visit the Noong Long village of the Tho ethnic group. We drive along the mountains covered with dense forests, then we cross vast rice fields, tea and orange trees, a small forest of latan trees,...
